Getting Ready to Dig

We have the basement contractor lined up and he moved his excavator to site yesterday (Apr 23). He will likely start excavating later this week but it will be another week before he can get a concrete truck to the site as it is still too wet and the road bans were just extended to May 4. We also have the road contractor lined up (he is our neighbour) which should also start in a week or so. Now that things are happening the site will be updated regularly.
Picture 1 shows the view as you come up the drive to the home site. The house will be approx. where the dogs are.
Picture 2 shows where the house will be. You should be able to pick out the four stakes with the red tape on top.
Picture 3 will be the view out our living room bay window.
Picture 4 – The crocus’s are up already.
